These PD-EH500 SPD Road Pedals from Shimano are perfect for commuters and touring thanks to their versatility and Shimano’s legendary build quality and durability.
- Combines SPD mechanism on one side and a concave stable platform pedal body on the other, you can ride with cleats or normal shoes
- Serviceable cup and cone bearings add to long life of the pedals
- Adjustable cleat tension means you can start off with loose tension for extra easy engagement and release, and turn up the tension as you progress
With these pedals you can enjoy the best of both worlds with a flat pedal platform on one side and a SPD clip-in style on the other side allowing you to ride with SPD shoes or normal shoes. These pedals can last you a lifetime with the cup and cone bearing system being fully serviceable. You can adjust the cleat tension to your preference as well, allowing you to adapt to your own cycling ability and the terrain you’re riding on.
