Sales Assistant

We are seeking a Cycle Sales Advisor to join our busy Wrexham based sales team.

Your duties will include processing customers order over the phone, dealing with customers email enquiries as well as face to face assistance in our busy Wrexham showroom, advising customers on our market leading range of brands.

You will have a real enthusiasm for all aspects of cycling and a willingness to want to help people, working as a team and enjoy interacting with customers.

This is an exciting full time role working Monday to Friday and including 1 in 3 Saturdays. We offer a competitive salary and 28 days holiday (including bank holidays).

2nd Line Support Engineer

As the 2nd line escalation point, you'll work with our first line support team to maintain and monitor all IT systems, and understand and resolve technical issues in a prompt and professional manner. There will also be lots of support and collaboration with our management teams on IT projects across the Group.

  • Day to day, you will:
  • Respond to either 2nd line support or end user software or hardware queries via email, phone or face to face.
  • Work with the IT Manager and wider support team to ensure any recurring technical issues are addressed and any training or documentation requirements are identified and implemented.
  • Update the ticketing system, ensuring the call has been logged and all notes, progress and required actions have been input promptly and accurately.
  • Continuously improve knowledge and understanding across the various software and hardware technologies supported by the team.
  • Provide assistance to the various reporting and alerting systems within the business.
  • Liaise where appropriate with 3rd parties in order to resolve issues.
  • Assist other IT technicians and management with updates, changes and new installations of IT software and hardware.
  • Maintain a strong polite customer focus at all times.
  • To be a great 2nd Line Support Engineer at DT, you'll need:
  • At least 2 years experience of working within a busy IT team.
  • A robust knowledge of SQL and the ability to write detailed SQL queries for reporting and troubleshooting database issues.
  • Knowledge and experience in dealing with and administering databases such as MySQL, SQL, Oracle.
  • Good knowledge of computer hardware including pc's, printers, switches, servers and networking.
  • A sound working knowledge of Microsoft software products such as Windows and Office 365 products as well as Server OS and Active Directory.
  • Good knowledge of virtualisation technologies such as vmware.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software faults.
  • Knowledge of IP based telephone systems.
  • Knowledge of OMS (Order management systems) especially ‘Maginus’ would be beneficial.
  • Knowledge of Magento to aid the supporting of our ecommerce platform would be beneficial.
  • A recognised IT qualification such as A-level, BTEC, or degree.
  • Microsoft Certified Systems Professional/Administrator (MCSP/MCSA) or similar qualifications would also be desirable.

Customer Service Advisor

Day to day, you'll be taking calls and doing your best to support our customers with a great level of after sales care and support when they need it most.

You'll take the care to understand what matters to them and if you don't know the answer then you'll have access to plenty of colleagues that do. You’ll be joining a well-trained and dedicated team of people who live and breathe bikes. which makes them the perfect in-house experts.

From day one we'll teach you all about our products and processes and you'll learn how respond to queries quickly and become better every day.

This role is fast paced and busy during peak season, so you’ll be working from Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 5.30pm.
