This is the second one I've owned, and I must say the previous model was a little better.
When you have rejoined the chain, there is a tendency for the link to be very stiff.
The older version had a set of teeth in the centre that could be used to push the pin, and separate the side plates very slightly to remove the pressure and free the link.
It may be just practice that is needed, I have used it successfully, but it was a bit of a fiddle.
One thing I tried that worked, was to put a piece of paper between the inner link and outer plate before pushing the pin through. Once rejoined, flexing the chain destroys the paper, and you are left with a free link.

A bike has to go though a Pre Delivery Inspection (PDI Check) prior to despatch, ensuring the bike is thoroughly checked and set up prior to you receiving. This also means an express delivery service is unavailable. We strive to despatch bikes within 3-5 working days.
