The SRAM X4 line-up sets the standard for recreational level shifting, with an intelligent blend of performance and value for mountain biking or commuting use. Designed for 24 speed (3x8) drivetrains, the 1:1 actuation ratio necessitates the use of compatible SRAM rear derailleurs, whilst the shifters are compatible with any front derailleur.
1:1 actuation is superior by design. Every unit of cable you pull moves the derailleur the same amount.
