SRAM Code RSC Front & Rear Disc Brake Set
- The go-to brakes for Enduro & Trail riders
- RSC lever tuning contact point + reach
- No bar clamps included
SRAM Code RSC Disc Brake Set is a front and rear hydraulic disc brake kit built for hard trail and enduro riding. It delivers very high braking force at the caliper, smooth lever control, and deep tuning for riders who adjust every detail. The set comes ready to fit, with a fully-bled front brake, long hose lengths for clean routing, SwingLink leverage control, sealed lever pivot bearings, and strong metallic sintered pads for heat and wear resistance. It’s a proven choice for heavy bike loads, wet days, and long descents. PLEASE NOTE: The set is supplied in factory packaging without a retail box. NO CLAMPS INCLUDED.
Key Features and Benefits:
- SwingLink leverage cam: Changes leverage as the lever is pulled. The benefit is power that rises in a curve instead of arriving all at once. Precise braking modulation to hold speed on steep terrain with less hand fatigue.
- Lever Pivot Bearing (LPB): Uses sealed cartridge bearings at the lever pivot. The benefit is low friction, no side play, and a firmer pivot. This gives you a sharp, repeatable bite point lap after lap with fewer bleed tweaks.
- Code 4-piston heavy-duty caliper: Larger pistons and stiff caliper body boost clamp force at the rotor. Provides very high braking power to slow you down with more control, even under full bike and pack weight.
- RSC lever tuning (contact point + reach dials): Two dials change how the lever engages and where it sits. Reach (lever position) dial moves the blade closer or farther from the bar. This gives better fit for hand size and one-finger braking. Contact point dial changes pad engagement, letting you move the bite point earlier or later, without adding vague, extra free stroke. The outcome is a lever that engages where you set it, every ride.
- Metallic sintered pads (pre-fitted): High-density metal particles fused under heat handle very high temps. Ensures consistent contact in wet and dry, with slower wear. Ultimately this means fewer pad swaps and steady braking on long descents.
- 850mm (front) & 1550mm (rear) hoses: Correct lengths for most MTB frames, ready to trim. Clean routing, less hose waste, and a tidy bar area.
- Rear brake pre-filled, disconnected at lever end: DOT fluid comes pre-loaded and sealed. Fast internal frame routing before you attach the lever. The outcome is a cleaner, quicker final connection at the bar.
This brake set is built to solve real problems felt on long alpine and bike-park descents: wandering bite points, hand fatigue, heat fade, and fast pad wear. Lever bearings and SwingLink keep the brakes smooth and controlled. Reach and contact point dials let you set your bite point and lever angle with precision. The 4-piston calipers and sintered pads hold power when loads are high, rotors are hot, and weather shifts. The result is consistent braking, fewer mid-ride changes, and more usable control when it counts most.
SRAM designed Code RSC for riders who push every descent and want lever feel that stays the same ride after ride. The system runs DOT fluid for high-temp stability and seals cleanly when hoses are cut and re-connected. Small lever tweaks make clear changes, so setup feels personal and exact. When trails get steeper and speeds rise, strong brakes aren’t a bonus — they’re the margin. This front and rear set gives you lasting power, firm bite, usable tuning, and an easier install. It’s built to work hard, stay smooth, and match your setup without doubt.
Specification:
- SRAM Code RSC front brake, 850mm hose length, with pads fitted.
- SRAM Code RSC rear brake, 1650mm hose length, with pads fitted.
