The lightweight nickel-plated forged alloy chain cage reduces weight and increases rigidity whilst resisting abrasion from the chain and the extra wide pivot link and optimised spring tension creates a rigid, flex free shift whilst remaining a smooth and light action. The forged aluminium construction reduces weight without sacrificing durability, the integrated cable tension adjustment is quick and easy to use and the hard-wearing finish is as good as you would expect from Shimano’s flagship range.
