I’m really pleased with these tyres (Tan 700x50mm). Riding now in November in the UK we’ve now got lots of mud and slippery conditions. I’ve found them very confidence inspiring on the trails where my previous tyres would have been slipping and sliding. This is to be expected with their more aggressive tread. The real surprise has been their speed on the tarmac, I’m surprised how fast they seem to be, at least equal to my mates Maxxis Reavers and I feel faster than my previous Maxxis Rambler(45mm). One thing to note, and this is something written about by some of the reviews in the magazines is that they needed breaking in. At first they seemed sluggish and slow and I thought oh no I’ve made a mistake here, but after about a couple of rides (150km) they have broken in and ride fast on and off the road, but still with grip and confidence. Well done Schwalbe! 10 out of 10 from me!
