The Genesis Tour De Fer 30 Bike - 2026 is a steel touring bike built for long-distance reliability, with a Shimano Cues 2x10 drivetrain, dynamo-powered lighting, and a load-ready rack system. The Reynolds 725 steel frame gives strength and comfort for heavy loads, while the integrated Busch & Muller dynamo lighting provides constant power without batteries. A 180mm front rotor improves braking control under load, and the AtranVelo AVS rear rack supports secure luggage attachment for extended trips.
Key Features and Benefits:
- Shimano Cues 2x10-speed drivetrain: This wide-range gearing system combines a 46-30T chainset with an 11-39T cassette to give smooth shifting and low climbing gears. This helps you maintain cadence on steep climbs and stay efficient over long distances, reducing fatigue across varied terrain
- Reynolds 725 steel frame: This heat-treated steel tubing is designed for strength and controlled flex. It absorbs road vibration while carrying weight, giving stable handling and improved comfort over long rides with luggage
- Busch & Muller dynamo lighting system: The hub dynamo generates power as you ride, supplying reliable front and rear lighting without batteries. This ensures consistent visibility in all conditions and removes the need for charging or replacements on extended tours
- 180mm front rotor with mechanical disc brakes: The larger rotor increases braking leverage and heat control. This gives stronger and more consistent stopping power, especially when riding with added weight or in wet conditions
- AtranVelo AVS compatible rear rack: This rack uses a secure click system for luggage and panniers. It allows fast attachment and removal while keeping loads stable, improving efficiency when packing and stopping
- Vittoria Randonneur Tech 700x40c tyres: These tyres are designed for durability and puncture resistance with a reinforced casing. This reduces the risk of flats and supports reliable rolling across mixed road surfaces
The bike is built to support consistent, long-distance travel with minimal maintenance. The dynamo hub removes the need to manage lights, while the wide gearing keeps effort steady across climbs and flat roads. The steel frame handles weight without harsh feedback, and the braking system remains controlled under load. Each component is selected to reduce interruptions and keep your setup dependable over extended journeys.
This is a bike designed to handle distance, load, and changing conditions without added complexity. It supports steady progress and reliable performance on every ride.
