At Tweeks Cycles, we ensure your bike arrives fully assembled and, most importantly, well packaged so it arrives with you as it left us.

Upon delivery, simply unpack it, attach any included pedals (believe it or not, some bikes don’t come with pedals!), adjust the handlebars, and you're ready to ride!

It’s all super simple!

BUT! Please take extra care when fitting any pedals that are provided with your bike. Pedals are side specific and MUST be fitted to the correct side of the bike. They are usually clearly labelled Left and Right. Failure to do so will permanently damage the bike, void the bikes warranty and lead to many tantrums, for children or grown children alike!

Comprehensive 14-Point Inspection

Each bike undergoes a meticulous 14-point inspection to guarantee optimal condition and performance:

  • Ensure Cycle is free of any mechanical damage, paint chips or missing parts
  • Grease seat tube, secure seat clamp, make sure the saddle is level and ensure all fixings are secure
  • Ensure handlebar, stem and brake/gear levers are secured
  • Assess headset for play or tightness
  • Ensure handlebar tape or grips are fitted securely
  • Ensure wheel nuts, quick-release levers or through axles are tightened (please note: some adult mountain bikes come with the front wheel removed for transport), true the wheels for optimal alignment and check wheel bearings for proper adjustment
  • Inflate tyres to the correct pressure
  • Ensure front and rear brakes operate correctly. Bleed hydraulic brakes if required
  • Ensure pedal threads are greased
  • Test all gears to ensure smooth operation
  • Check suspension system for correct operation and ensure bolts are tight (if required)
  • Ensure smooth bottom bracket rotation with no free play and secure crank bolts
  • Check cable/house routing and that cable ends are fitted
  • Install reflectors and bell (to be done by customer)

This thorough process ensures your bike is in peak condition upon arrival. We do not fit mudguards or other accessories prior to shipping as these are likely to be damaged in transit.

Note on Electric Bikes

Due to shipping restrictions, in some circumstances you may receive your new electric bike and its battery separately. This is due to carriage restrictions on some removable batteries.

Note on Balance Bikes

Balance bikes are shipped unassembled, allowing you to enjoy the building experience and retain the original packaging-perfect for gifting.

Details

The DMR Sect Dirt Jump Bike delivers proven dirt geometry, durable 4130 chromoly tubing, and dialled components for strength, control, and smooth handling. Its short rear end, stable 69º head angle, and tapered head tube ensure precise performance across jumps and spins, backed by components built to last.

Key Features and Benefits:

  • 4130 chromoly frame with tapered head tube: Combines high strength and low weight for a strong yet responsive build. The tapered head tube supports modern fork upgrades, ensuring long-term reliability.
  • Super short rear end: Improves bike rotation during spins and flips. This gives the rider quicker handling and tighter control over tricks.
  • 69º head angle: Provides stability without reducing agility. Riders gain confidence on steep take-offs and landings with precise steering.
  • Hydroformed chainstays with integrated yoke: Maximises tyre clearance and stiffness. The result is smoother power transfer and reduced flex under load.
  • Tektro M275 hydraulic brakes: Reliable stopping with 160mm rotors. Strong braking helps control speed on approach and landing.
  • RST Dirt fork with rebound adjustment and chromoly steerer: Built for impact strength with adjustable damping. Riders get consistent performance and a fork that matches their riding style.
  • Two-piece forged crankset with integrated axle: Adds stiffness and reduces weight. Pedalling feels efficient with less flex and improved durability.
  • DMR finishing kit with V6 pedals, Sect grips, DJ seat, and Moto DJ tyres: Purpose-built components enhance grip, comfort, and control. Every contact point is tuned for dirt jump riding.

Built for strength and control, the Sect gives riders confidence in both frame and parts. Each detail supports reliable trick execution and consistent performance, whether in practice or competition. The combination of geometry, materials, and components makes it a benchmark in dirt jump bike design.

Take advantage of proven DMR design and ride with a bike ready for progression. The Sect offers value, strength, and technical detail that meet the demands of serious dirt riding.
