2nd Line IT Support Engineer

We are looking for an experienced 2nd Line IT Support Engineer to join our IT Team.

  • Duties will include:
  • Diagnosing and resolving hardware and software faults across the various systems within the business.
  • Responding to either 2nd line support or end user software or hardware queries via email, phone or face to face.
  • Working with the IT Manager and wider support team to ensure any recurring technical issues are addressed and any training or documentation requirements are identified and implemented.
  • Updating the ticketing system, ensuring any calls have been logged and all notes, progress and required actions have been input promptly and accurately.
  • Assist other IT technicians and management with updates, changes and new installations of IT software and hardware.
  • Provide assistance to the various reporting and alerting systems within the business.
  • Assist with various Project work within the department/business.
  • Provide some helpdesk Out of hours (OOH) support to the company (System Down Issues) via telephone (Phone and Laptop to be supplied).
  • The ideal candidate should possess:
  • At least 2 years experience of working within a busy IT team.
  • Very good knowledge of computer hardware including pc's/printers/switches/servers/networking.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft software products such as Windows and Office 365 products as well as Server OS and Active Directory.
  • Good knowledge of database systems, including SQL knowledge.
  • Commitment to customer service excellence
  • A recognised IT qualification such as A-level, BTEC, or degree.

Purchasing Executive

We currently require a new team player to join our existing Replenishment Team.

  • Duties will include:
  • Placing orders on a daily basis
  • Progressing orders and updating the system
  • Liaising both internally and externally with suppliers and customers
  • Arranging parcel and pallet collections
  • Elements of stock management
  • Liaising with the warehouse to manage incoming large deliveries

Applicants should possess a flexible, hardworking, "can do" attitude with good communications skills and be computer literate with the ability to use Microsoft Excel. Previous experience within the purchasing/replenishment role would be advantage.
