Sometimes, the Mucky Nutz Face Fender doesn't quite offer enough protection from mud flying from your front wheel. Enter the Mucky Nutz MudGuard which is designed for bigger, closer coverage, while retaining the sleek look and easy fitting of the legendary Face Fender.

As Mucky Nutz' first entry in the 3D fender market, they wanted to ensure they got it right. The MudGuard has been designed as a fully functional and sharp-looking piece of kit, that keep and mud and spray out of your face, even in the worst conditions. The MudGuard is compatible with most suspension forks, including Boost axle-spacing models and is suitable for 26”, 27.5” & 29” wheels and up to 3” tyres. Safe to say it has the ever-changing industry wheel/tyre size standards under control then! 

The Guard itself features a forward lip to minimise spray, along with a sharp trailing edge to cut cloggy soil away from your tyre. Despire this and the closer fit, the recessed bridge area means you'll still have plenty of tyre clearance. The wide upper arm profile is also designed to keep mud and dirt away from your fork seals and stanchions, keeping them cleaner and prolonging intervals between services. The MudGuard fits in seconds with the supplied Velcro roll, just like the original Face Fender. Another trait it shares with the Face Fender is the multitude of fastening slots, giving you a wide range of adjustment for different forks, as well as as the possibility of using it as a rear mudguard on some full suspension bikes. With the Short version weighing just 75g, the MudGuard is also super light.
