The 502 Pedals from SQlab come in four different axle lengths to allow a correct fit for riders and to allow a physiologically natural foot position. The longer axle of this clipless pedal helps to prevent one sided load, especially with a calf leg head or fibula head syndrome. The shorter the axle the more suitable it will be for riders with smaller shoe sizes and smaller sit bone measurement. This means that the cycling term ‘Q-Factor’ can be reduced. The foot is the drive - the SQlab pedals optimize power transmission and can improve knee control, thereby reducing the load on the knee joints.
