I have a few smaller thorns but as I’m running tubeless the sealant does it’s job, I did however get a large briar thorn stuck in tyre and had to have the tyre plugged; this lasted for another couple of months before it blew resulting in the replacement tyre. The Rekkon is more than capable of any handling the local off-road trails and woods and the only limitations is my ability, not the cheapest tyre out there but Maxxis know their tyres and won’t go wrong with the Rekkon, especially if the trails you ride are susceptible to mud
