Don't be fooled by the title, Enduro have been producing bearings since before the word "Enduro" became fashionable, there bearings are an industry leading design and they set the standard for all other bearing manufacturers to match.

You may be more familiar with the ABEC standards from the worlds of skateboarding and roller blades but Enduro  have tailored their bearings for the specific demands of cycling. The entry level industry standard of a bearing is ABEC 1 but Enduro do not produce any bearing which comes in at less than ABEC 3, this means that even if you choose an entry level Enduro bearing it is of better quality than another manufactureres entry level bearing.

These standard ABEC 3/5 bearings are designed for use within Headsets and give outstanding performance and longevity to your components.

Bearing Options

52100 High Carbon Chromium Alloy Races:
Purest alloy steel with the toughness like no other. MAX bearings use CRC Marine Grease, will not wash out or break down under any extreme circumstances. Even salt water will not penetrate or break it down.

Stainless Steel Bearings:
Enduro manufactures some series of bearings using 440 C stainless steel balls and races. This material provides maximum corrosion resistance in applications and environments where critical. Depending on the application, they are designed to ABEC-3 or ABEC-5 tolerances. Stainless steel has 20% less load capacity than the 52100 chromium steel, used in most of our bearings, but with far superior corrosion resistance.

Seal Options

2RS: Literally means the bearing has Two Rubber Seals.

LLU: Two NBR 70 rubber seals with medium/high contact seal, which rides in a matching groove machined into the bearing to make a labyrinth type seal. The outer sealing lip repels dirt and water while the inner sealing lip retains the grease.

LLB: Two NBR 70 rubber seals with low contact seal, which rides in a matching groove machined into the bearing for low drag or friction.

SRS: Two NBR 70 rubber seals with an axial face seal, this seal has a large contact surface area, while running very smoothly and freely. They are easily removable with a snap ring which hold them in place, making them easy to service.

VV: Two NBR 70 rubber seals with non-contact seal, which rides in a matching groove machined into the bearing for no drag or friction.

What Size Bearing?
Bearing sizes are easily identifiable by the numbers on the seals. Some popular sizes include 6001, 6002, 6803, 6901, 6902. If the bearing seal has become damaged or the sizing is no longer visible, you can identify you bearing with 3 simple measurements.
