Anybody who has been mountain biking from the early days will remember Sintesi's full suspension bikes, frames such as the Hantrax and Bromont were used to great effect in the first true downhill races. Dave Cullinan rode a Bromont to victory at the first Downhill World Championships in 1992. In 1997, Italian rider, Corrado Herin was the first Italian to win the Downhill World Cup on an Italian-manufactured bike. Since then, the company has widened its product range (which now includes cross-country, downhill, road and BMX bikes) and worked tirelessly to improve performance without ever stopping to bathe in the glory of past success. always preferring to work towards improving production for the future. After a period of under-representation on British shores, Sintesi are back for 2012 and exclusive to Tweeks Cycles.
