Big Savings On Everything You Need!
Big Savings On Everything You Need!
The weather is fast improving and it’s now light when we leave work in the evening - which to us here at Tweeks means one thing… the start of the bike season!

It’s also the perfect time to blow off the cobwebs and give your bike a bit of love to ensure it’s in top shape ready for an epic summer of riding. Regardless of whether it’s spent the winter months out in all weathers or has been stored not having turned a wheel, the benefits of a thorough service are huge - allowing you to spot anything that needs immediate attention and keep things running smoothly. We’ve reduced prices on the most commonly needed service parts to ensure the process is as painless as possible and are even offering 20% off our workshop rates for the remainder of March (see below) if you don’t fancy getting your hands dirty or simply don’t have the time to.

  Chains   Cassettes
  Chains
Breaking one of these can really ruin your day; at best it’s an inconvenience, at worst it could leave you stranded miles from civilisation! This, along with the fact that a stretched chain will also wear your (more expensive) cassette and chainrings quickly means that we recommend frequent inspection and periodical replacement. We’ve got great prices on chains from a range of manufactures to cover the full spectrum of bicycle applications.
  Cassettes
Your chain and cassette often wear together, so it’s worth replacing one when you do the other to ensure perfect shifting and minimise the risk of slipping or accelerated wear. Upgrading to a better model is not only a great way to save a few grams but often gives you the benefit of harder wearing coatings along with the opportunity to customise your gearing to suit the terrain you ride rather than the ‘best-fit’ option specified by the manufacturer.

  Brake Spares   Bottom Brackets
  Brake Spares
Your brakes are perhaps the most important component fitted to your bike and as such need to be powerful and totally dependable. Part of your regular maintenance schedule should be checking for typical wear and replacing components as required - it’s also the perfect time to make some upgrades; perhaps you fancy moving to cartridge pads for more positive lever feel, running some larger rotors to reduce fade or want to switch to sintered pads to better deal with mud and grit. Whatever you need, we’ve got you covered.
  Bottom Brackets
Often overlooked, your bottom bracket takes a lot of punishment and aside from performing its primary function of allowing the cranks to rotate smoothly; must deal with significant lateral forces (during out of the saddle sprinting and climbing) along with water and dirt ingress through the wiper seals. As a result it’s a part that’s often in need of replacement, particularly after being static for extended periods. We carry a wide range of both direct replacement and upgrade options for the most common styles in stock for fast delivery.

  Tyres   Tools
  Tyres
Your contact patch with the road or trail is absolutely tiny, so you need to make it count; good quality tyres have such a pronounced effect on the handling of your bike that you simply can’t afford to neglect them and run sub-par rubber that’s past it’s best; Whether you need to simply replace a worn out pair, are looking for greater grip, reduced weight, increased durability or want to make the switch to tubeless - it’s money very well spent!
  Tools
Whether you’re doing running repairs or building a bike up from scratch, even the most basic cycle repairs often require specialist tools, so if you plan on doing your own maintenance it’s worth investing in some good quality workshop essentials. From tyre levers to a torque wrench, multi-tools to a wheel truing stand - we’ve can supply anything you need to get your bike running smoothly and keep it in fine fettle.
