The Shimano Saint Shadow rear derailleur features a low profile design, super wide link and super tough construction making it a must have component for any gravity rig! Using Shimano Shadow technology, this Saint rear mech, with a smooth skid plate surface, features a super low profile design and direct cable routing to prevent snagging any trail side hazards. The single tension spring design prevents contact with the chainstay resulting in a silent ride. The cold forged alloy links and pivot bodies lead to lower weight without compromising strength and durability. To further increase durability and long-term shift performance the Saint rear derailleur has durable ceramic bush and sealed bearing pulley wheels. The super wide link braces the mech body to increase pivot joint rigidity, providing crisp, positive shifts. Combine this with a strong return spring and four fluorine-coated link pin bushings and you have one of the slickest shifting rear derailleurs on the trails. Using a mode converter on the body this rear derailleur works with cassette ratios of 11-23 to 11-28 tooth, or 11-32 to 11-34 tooth. The top normal spring system on the M810 rear mech uses the spring to select higher gears, best suited to Rapidfire shifters. The versatile Saint rear derailleur is Mega9, 8 and 7-speed compatible. Available in GS (Medium Cage) or SS (Short Cage) options. Capacity: SS - For single ring use with a total capacity of 17 teeth, or 23 teeth with mode converter in.
