The Shimano Deore XT Shadow rear derailleur delivers reliable and precise shifting with a stiff and lightweight open design.

Using Shimano Shadow technology, the Deore XT rear mech features a super low profile design and direct cable routing to prevent snagging any trail side hazards. The single tension spring design prevents contact with the chainstay resulting in a silent ride. The all-alloy construction leads to lower weight without compromising strength and durability.

The super wide link braces the mech body to increase pivot joint rigidity, providing crisp, positive shifts. Combine this with a strong return spring, durable sealed bearing tension pulley and four fluorine-coated link pin bushings and you have one of the slickest shifting rear derailleurs on the trails.

This versatile rear derailleur is Mega9, 8 & 7-speed compatible and features a top normal spring for use with Rapidfire shifters.

Available in GS (Medium Cage) or SGS (Long Cage) options. The GS cage should only be used with single and double chainsets.

	Hi Can the M772 Shadow be used with Dura ace bar end shifters? (1 Answer)
	A: Hi. The 10 speed road and MTB gear components are not interchangeable, so this won't work . If you are planning on running it 9 speed, then it will work with older 9 speed bar end shifters. By Tweeks Cycles Team
