Q & A

Is there a bit of a slope on your way to the shops to get some biscuits?  Maybe there's a kerb that hurts your back?  You need a Gambler 30.

It's got over 203mm kerb-taming suspension at the front and, most unusually, at the back too, so you won't even feel any drain covers that you roll over.  The 200mm rotor Avid brakes front and rear bring you a stop quickly and safely when that annoying pedestrian crosses the zebra crossing in front of you without warning.  With wide 800mm Syncros DH bars, you can always stay in control around the sharpest of roundabouts, and with plenty of space left to mount a basket.  SRAM's X5 and X4 gears shift reliably so you can still pedal even when loaded up with bread, milk and pork pies.  There is even a dress-guard on the front chainring.  It'll stop your chain coming off too.

The Gambler 30 really is the ideal bike for today's savvy shopper.  Leave the car at home and enjoy the ride.

Or you can rip up whatever DH track you point it down, let it eat up anything in it's way and beat the competition in submission.  Up to you.

The all new Gambler.  From the first look you can tell that is a completely new design.  So what was the aim, and what has been achieved?  A big part of the plan was to bring the weight of the suspension parts more central, so now most of the mass is around the bottom bracket area in the middle of the bike for much better weight distribution.  The weight is also lower so keep things stable while railing around those berms.  A few side effects of this are that the suspension action is now smoother, with less shock bush rotation and better ease of adjustability.  You can raise or lower the bottom bracket height by 10mm, affecting the head angle by a degree.  You can also extend the wheelbase by flipping the rear axle mount.  All of this technology doesn't really matter though...all that does is that it makes you faster over any course you throw it down.  And it will.
