Sintesi Bikes are back in the UK and Exclusive to Tweeks Cycles Sintesi Z1 Comp The Sintesi Z1 Comp is built around a monocoque Carbex Carbon Composite frame. The large aero downtube, chainstays and bottom bracket area provide superb acceleration while the thinner seatstays reduce road buzz and increase comfort. A tapered headtube with integrated headset gives sure footed handling and excellent steering precision. The geometry has been designed to be versatile enough for Leisure or Performance riding, providing comfort, speed and confident handling. Sintesi have built an unbelievable package on a bike of this price with a dependable Sram Apex 10 speed transmission, Ritchey Zeta Pro wheels and a 991 finishing kit. Times are changing... and so are bicycles. Sintesi Bikes are the epitome of this evolution! Up until a few years ago, the world of mountain bike production was completely dominated by the Americans. That is, until a certain Italian company arrived on the scene to challenge the most famous manufacturers at their own game, in particular the American ones. In the space of just a few years, this company built itself up to be one of the leaders, not only in its targeted market, but also in the hearts and minds of the keenest mountain bikers. Anybody who has been mountain biking from the early days will remember Sintesi's full suspension bikes, frames such as the Hantrax and Bromont were used to great effect in the first true downhill races. Dave Cullinan rode a Bromont to victory at the first Downhill World Championships in 1992. In 1997, Italian rider, Corrado Herin was the first Italian to win the Downhill World Cup on an Italian-manufactured bike. Since then, the company has widened its own product range (which now includes cross-country, downhill, road and BMX bikes) and has improved its performance without ever stopping to bathe in the glory of current success, always preferring to work towards improving production for the future. The name of this company is Sintesi, a name that embodies the company's philosophy of only producing bikes that constitute the best possible combination of engineering excellence and fun riding!
