The Pinarello FP Due is ideal for long-distance amateur riders and future champions alike. The Pinarello entry-level race bike features a new asymmetric monocoque frame, making it powerful and highly rigid. Most visible in the seatstays and fork, the asymmetry helps balance the offset power delivery due to the drivetrain being offset to the right. The stiffness is most noticeable during hard efforts when sprinting or climbing, but it's always working to keep the bike balanced and the wheels planted.
The steerer tube of the fork now tapers from 1-1/8" to 1-1/2" to create an even stiffer front end for precise handling, especially when the road gets fast and twisty. Available in 7 different sizes to ensure your getting a perfect fit.
About Pinarello
As a young man Giovanni Pinarello had one dream, to race bicycles competitively. In 1947, after considerable success as an amateur he turned professional, continuing to compete until 1953 and taking five victories during this period.
The end of Giovanni's cycling career allowed him to focus exclusively on developing and manufacturing bikes, having worked in bicycle production throughout his time as a professional it soon became his sole focus and over the following decades Pinarello based in Treviso, Italy would become one of the most lauded cycling manufacturers in the world, with racing success and technical innovation playing a key role in the development of the brand both then and now.
Despite working extensively with Steel, Aluminium and Magnesium during the past, Pinarello now almost exclusively utilise Carbon Fibre in frame, fork and component construction. Their close working relationship with industry leader Torayca in Japan gives them access to the very highest grade carbon fibre normally reserved for the aerospace industry, and is combined with advanced design and construction techniques to produce some of the finest bicycles available today.
