Sitting in the middle of the Aspect range, this 930 has a few nice little upgrades to help you get going off-road, along with everyday leisure riding.

At the back, you get a Deore rear derailleur to keep things running smooth alongside the Acera, and BR-M395 hydraulic brakes do a great job of the stopping. Suntour XCR forks are a step up from the Aspect 940 forks, to offer a little more suspension control, and Schwalbe tyres keep the whole thing gripping the ground where it needs to.

Scott's Aspect range is designed to be light, efficient and reasonably priced. Great for someone new to mountain biking or looking to progress up the ladder on a budget. Using Scott's experience in bikes for over 25 years, they have designed bikes that are great value while offering the performance and technology suitable to take you further in your MTB hobby, whether it's just for leisure or getting more serious.

Founded in 1958 by Ed Scott, a talented engineer and competitive skier, the company launched the worlds first tapered aluminium ski pole to universal acclaim, setting a precedent of technical innovation that continues to this day. After moving through motocross the first mountain bike model was launched in 1986, whilst the 1989 Tour De France saw the debut of the aerodynamic handlebar that famously helped Greg Lemond to claim the yellow jersey from the late Laurent Fignon in the legendary final time trial on the cobbles of the Champs-Élysées.
The 1990’s saw Scott establish themselves firmly within the MTB market, with world cup winning forks, the worlds first carbon fibre mountain bike the Endorphin, and the worlds lightest full suspension MTB’s the G-Zero in 98 and Strike in 2000.

Today Scott offers a comprehensive and progressive range of bikes, with all models, from the entry level Aspect or Sportster to the high end Genius LT, Addict and women specific Contessa ranges featuring the most advanced construction techniques, components and materials available. Pioneers of Carbon Fibre in both road and mountain applications; the CR1 and IMP production techniques coupled with exclusive HMF and HMX carbon fibre grades allow for some of the lightest and strongest bikes on the market today, whilst innovative frame design and close links with leading component manufacturers such as DT Swiss ensure that all Scott bikes perform flawlessly at all levels.
