Scott Voltage FR 30

Blasting berms, railing turns, tricking every hit. The Voltage FR is an affordable Good Times Machine that does anything from Park Riding to Slopestyle Competition. This bike shreds it all. Oversized hydroformed tubes and cartridge bearing pivots create stiff lightweight frames that offer 135-180 mm of adjustable travel. These bikes are built to take the big hits and deliver lots of fun.

Adjustable Geometry And Travel
The Voltage FR has multiple geometry and travel options to suit the needs of the Slopestyle competitor as well as the Park Rider. It has two positions for the shock and three different shock mounts that allow for 140mm-180mm of travel.

Full Nelson Welding
The Full Nelson weld technique employs a straight weld with a unique tongue and groove junction at the head tube forging to create the strongest head tube joint possible.

IDS Interchangeable Dropout System
The rear dropout and hanger are interchangeable and come in three different lengths. The -10mm dropout produces a 415mm chain stay length, which is very short for a full suspension bike. There are also 0mm and 10mm dropouts available that produce 425mm and 435mm chain stay lengths respectively. The replaceable dropout system also allows for use of a standard QR, MAXLE or 12mm thru axle.

Sealed Bearing Pivots
The Voltage FR employs oversize sealed bearing pivots for maximum durability and lateral stiffness. The bike rails corners and holds a line because of the beefy pivots and bearings.

Founded in 1958 by Ed Scott, a talented engineer and competitive skier, the company launched the worlds first tapered aluminium ski pole to universal acclaim, setting a precedent of technical innovation that continues to this day. After moving through motocross the first mountain bike model was launched in 1986, whilst the 1989 Tour De France saw the debut of the aerodynamic handlebar that famously helped Greg Lemond to claim the yellow jersey from the late Laurent Fignon in the legendary final time trial on the cobbles of the Champs-Élysées.
The 1990’s saw Scott establish themselves firmly within the MTB market, with world cup winning forks, the worlds first carbon fibre mountain bike the Endorphin, and the worlds lightest full suspension MTB’s the G-Zero in 98 and Strike in 2000.

Today Scott offers a comprehensive and progressive range of bikes, with all models, from the entry level Aspect or Sportster to the high end Genius LT, Addict and women specific Contessa ranges featuring the most advanced construction techniques, components and materials available.
