They build the wheels entirely by hand to an incredibly high, even tension using skilled craftsmen and finally testing them under the most demanding conditions at world class test labs.

Every detail of Easton's wheels go through this process and you can feel the difference it makes in every pedal stroke. The smallest technical details, like a spoke nipple, can make or break a wheel. This is why Easton pays close attention to even the smallest components and design elements of the wheels - even on the entry level models. Easton design their own hubs, rims and nipples and use the best components available.

Every Easton Wheel is hand built from start to finish. This is not the easiest way to do things but it's the best way to build superior wheels. Hand building ensures a balanced, high tension that keeps wheels truer longer and makes them lighter, stiffer and more responsive. Throughout the building process, technicians use Easton's proprietary acoustic tone measuring devices to sonically measure spoke tension, ensuring that wheels are brought up to specification tension as evenly as possible.

Tension is checked using a frequently calibrated tension meter to ensure each wheel falls into the correct tension range. This wheel building process allows for exceptionally high spoke tensions, which make the wheels stiffer, more responsive under acceleration, yet still as light as possible. Easton's systematic approach to precision tensioning sets the standard in the industry and makes these wheels truly among the best in the world
